HomeMABAS (Mutual Aid Box Alarm System) is designed to allow fire departments that belong to a MABAS division to call on each other for assistance when a large scale incident occurs that overwhelms the department's resources or manpower. A few examples are large fires, specialized rescues, and multiple simultaneous EMS calls. This is why you may occasionally see our fire apparatuses or ambulance in a neighboring city and vice versa.
